Rivage and The Back Room were established in 2011 as a casual but upscale dining option in the heart of historic Olde Worthington.
Quickly recognized as one of Central Ohio’s finest seafood restaurants, Rivage was honored as one of Columbus’ “Best New Restaurants, 2011” by Columbus Monthly magazine and continues to receive accolades from local and national media as a destination for consistently fresh and elegant seafood, small plates, craft beers, fine wine and creative cocktails.
Sometimes referred to as “Columbus’ best kept secret” Rivage and the Back Room enjoy an easy to find location on High Street yet maintain an out-of-the way and neighborhood ambiance and feel.
The menu features the traditional cuisines of the Atlantic coast (New England and Carolina’s Low Country) while also delivering modern, expertly prepared seasonal offerings using only the finest and freshest ingredients.
Rivage features two traditional dining rooms and an elevated Chef’s Table overlooking the open kitchen for parties of 6-12. The Back Room is an elegant bar/lounge with a sophisticated ambiance featuring rich woods, granite and tile.
Rivage and the Back Room are privately owned and managed by Worthington resident Bill Cosgrove, with kitchen operations managed by Executive Chef Colleen Pendergast.
